Are Welsh cakes eaten for Christmas breakfast?  They look so pretty.

I like the idea of making cinnamon rolls with icing.

MsP Welsh cakes are eaten at anytime of the day , they are not usually eaten at breakfast as they as really an afternoo tea or mid morning type treat , as if you are eating a biscuit/cookie.

Ii does not really matter when you eat them MsP , quite a lot of people eat then buttered.
They are nicest fresh made and straight from the griddle/bake stone

I sometimes get them made, cut out and not baked until I need them , or sometimes I just make the dough and put that in the fridge overnight ready to be used, I get it out f the friidge to come to room temperature before I need to use it.

another option would be, fruit salad with yoghurt and honey, Asda do great fruit deals for £1, natural yoghurt and honey is the same.
