I have started a better food project
feeding my 8 months old nipotina with sound foodstuff while holding her and both peeping in the pans, touching and patting breaddough, dusting the working board with flour, smelling fresh cropped ciders, celery, ..... fresh cut pumpkin to be plounged into her boiling soup
................ and and and ........................
she will be eating in England
do not spoil all that
I'm ready to help anyhow
it's my daughter who told me about Jamie's school revolution a few years ago, and that's why I am on this site
grazie I owe you a lot and would like to do something in exchange
with all my heart ![]()

I think you're doing a great job now, Mada :thumbsup
Reinforce it with her parents and have them "pass it on" to their friends etc ![]()

Re: I have started a better food project
they have asked me to send them the menu of the children's school where I worked some years ago, because some "nidi" they visited had opinable menus for very young babies, or even for grownups ![]()

I remember those pictures they should still be on the Madamada blog , I was always amazed how well the children ate.
Grandadamada, I am sure your daughter will cook lovely things for the lovely little nipotina , there is some great food around the UK , dont worry .

Re: I have started a better food project
thank you mummza, grandmas are sometimes like leonesse, when it's for their grandchildren ...... and I think you become aware of all the other babies again, much more than in the past when your children had to be fed or dressed or educated
...... sitting in the second or third row makes you a little more passionate fan ![]()

Re: I have started a better food project
I've got hold of the winter/spring menus of the kitchen in the children school and will take some pics there, as I did once ..... to make GB children a little more italian in their tastes
