Since the children were born, I have tried to feed them the best I could.  This introduced me to growing my own food ( I felt and still feel that children should see where their food comes from ).  A glut of fresh food started the preserving - jams etc, my daughters intolerance to bought bread starting me making my own etc etc.  A friend once described me as being "earthy". 

When I joined a garden forum and used the name "good earth mother", when I joined here I couldn't use it for some reason, but Earthmum was allowed.  I call myself GEM for short on the other site, and it has sort of stuck

I incorrectly assumed that Ashen was your real name...I got Kye wrong as well...

It is misleading somehow, i thought that Ashen called himself so because he loves BBQ's.

A person adressed him by his real name here long ago...

When i was invited on FB many thought that my real name was Kye. Apart from the Pabs, Minni, Marée, Mummz.
