Re: Whats For Supper?

Hey JYD - hope you have a better day tomorrow

We had lasagna, hot chips & salad.

Chips were requested by the kids as a swapsy for garlic bread.

Re: Whats For Supper?

I made cheats' baked beans with steamed greens and toast.

Amazing what a tin of white beans, two chorizo, some passata, toasted "decent" bread and minor flavour players can create. Thank you (again), Donna Hay.

Just going on midnight. Guests are (finally) in their room and I'm about to "do" the dishes.

Am I the world's worst host?

Re: Whats For Supper?

I have mince out.. not sure what will happen but Im thinking I will add onion & carrot, along with middle eastern spices to the beef.

Make beetroot yogurt garlic sauce & make wraps with tomato & lettuce.

Re: Whats For Supper?

Wonderful to see you back, Eddie and that you made the trip safely thumbsup

Last night (Friday), I made spiced (sesame oil and seeds, grated ginger, scallions, fish sauce) fish (snapper) with sesame-ginger rice noodles and steamed Asian greens garnished with fresh coriander/cilantro and mint from the balcony.

Tonight? Have some chicken thighs. Will decide what to do with them in the morning.
