Re: Elimination Diet Help

I could use some help with ideas for my restricted/elimination diet.  I've been beef free for 15 years and gluten-free for 3 years due to food allergies. Food Intolerance symptoms started to appear a few months ago and I was put on the following restricted diet for the next two weeks.  Here are the foods I CAN have:
spinach
onion
string bean
green pea
red pepper
green pepper
broccoli
asparagus
tomato
pinto bean
pecan
almond
walnut
coconut
cashew
egg
chicken
turkey
salmon
shrimp
strawberry
blueberry
raspberry
peaches
oregeno
parsley
cane sugar
cinnamon
black pepper
mustard
basil
rice
corn
millet
buckwheat

Thanks for help!

There is a fair bit in that. You could do a shrimp/prawn thing with tomato and oregano and serve with rice pasta or just polenta.

Re: Elimination Diet Help

This is the same diet I've been put on - and by the same doctor.  Can you please tell me how you're getting on with it and whether it has been helpful.  I'm just getting the end of week 1 and suffering from major headaches but otherwise feeling good.

Can you recommend any good recipe websites to use too smile

Thanks!
