I'm trying Jamies stifado and it says 1 1/2 tsp of allspice berries, how much do this convert to if I'm using ground allspice?

Ground allspice is very potent, you'll need much much less.  I'd go with half a tsp because it can really overpower a dish.  Good luck on that stifado!

I reckon if you used 2 tsp of ground allspice this would be a good amount (I grounded all spice berries and it was a good tbsp's worth, but try it and see what you think. You can add more or less next time- thatís the joy of cooking. If in the recipe the allspice doesnít get ground then I would only use 1 tsp of allspice as the flavour will not need to be as strong.
