Re: Spam and advertising on the Forums

Yes, Coco. I've reported at least a dozen ( seems to be 2 or 3 of them) hmm.

PS: Darn! Just saw four more by "members" I reported earlier hmm.

Re: Spam and advertising on the Forums

Edit: I have deleted this earlier comment, as, I think I may have got my wires-crossed - sorry, Wine-O! wink

Merlin, I reported a post earlier today (N.Z. morning!) which I hope you got to read regarding my apology & my mention of the "Forum occupation" query? Cheers!   smile

Re: Spam and advertising on the Forums

Yes, I forgot to add that too - thanks, Maree!

(I've just reported the post of a spammer after your post, M, if you or anyone is wondering? Am I supposed to still write "report" here on the Forum after clicking the report button to inform, Merlin & Eric question  Thanks!)

Re: Spam and advertising on the Forums

I reported the one above your last post, Kris (also).

Until yesterday evening (my time), I was posting "Reported" for posts I'd reported but the consensus seemed to be not to do so. Some were confused if the mods deleted the offending (spam) post while I was asleep/before I had a chance to delete my "Reported" and it appeared under an innocuous post.

So I've not added "Reported" since.

Does that make sense?

PS: I just noticed, when I checked in now, that there's a whole heap of "what looks like spam" posts. I've reported one but I'm still at work and don't have the time to report the others. Sorry.

Re: Spam and advertising on the Forums

Has anyone eaten spam recently, I mean this is a food site. I know there is a Spam cook book. It is probably 20 years since I had some. Spam fritters anyone?
