Re: Whats For Supper?

I semi-smashed the leftover roasted veg from the other night and made a sort of (almost) dry-fried bubble and squeak/hash brown of it.

Too tired to do more.

Re: Whats For Supper?

Will coat thin slices of chicken breasts in egg/flour, saute in olive oil and butter, going to try Gennaro and Antonio's 'cucina bianca' dish of potatoes and cabbage with cheese - don't have the same cheese they used, hoping sage darby or cheddar will work and probably will make steamed broccoli and field greens dressed with a light vinaigrette, fresh strawberries macerated in sugar to finish.

I'm coming down with something ... So, chicken, veg, noodle soup, Asian-style  with lots of ginger, chilli and coriander/cilantro.

Re: Whats For Supper?

I had an enormous bowl of pasta with Bolognaise sauce (the sauce is the latest thing I have learned to cook in my pressure cooker). My self seeded parsley is popping up everywhere, so that was chopped and sprinkled on top. Delicious.

It is 11am the next day and I am almost hungry again.

Slices of ham off the hock that's now in the slow cooker, carrots cooked in the same water, with mash and something green.
