BRIGHT GREEN OLIVES

Hi all.  We recently at Jamie's Italian in Brighton, and loved it!  We had an oliver starter with some small bright green olives and tapenade and music bread.  Can anyone tell me what type of olives they might have been?  I have never seen olives that green before, and would like to try and get some.
Thanks!

welcome to the forum kimmit smile

I am not sure what type of olives they are . I do agree that they are really very good.
I think that some jars of olives are avalible to be bought  in the Jamies Italian restaurants , I am not sure if they are the same, but it mght be worth asking the staff.

Re: BRIGHT GREEN OLIVES

They are usually Sicillian green olives... My Italian food connectn gets them from a wholesale importer in Sydney  for her retaurant..

I think they are called Castelvetrano after the region in Sicilly they come from.
