Our autumn menu is launched on Tuesday 18th October and promises to be a treat of seasonal Italian dishes with some Jamie 'twists' on the classics.  The menu launch coincides with the opening of our latest addition to the Jamie's Italian family - in Threadneedle Street in the heart of the city of London.
Head chef Matt Burgess (pictured with Gennaro Contaldo) said that the new dishes were very exciting and he was confident that his new brigade of chefs were absolutely up for the challenge.  "Not only do we have the new additions to our autumn menu but here in Threadneedle Street Jamie's decided to put some extras on the menu which really shout 'sophistication' and fit brilliantly with the neighbourhood we've opened in".  Oysters, white truffle risotto, pheasant and quail all make a cameo appearance in this brand new restaurant as well as dishes which will feature in every Jamie's Italian such as seaside risotto using Acquerello rice (the "Rolls Royce of rice") and the gorgeous Osso Bucco Milanese served with white polenta topped with some beautiful crispy fried capers from Salina in Sicily.
All the Jamie's Italian teams up and down the UK are gearing up for this exciting launch and have all enjoyed a wonderful new menu tasting session to ensure their menu knowledge matches the high standards of the food itself.
