Welcome to the newest addition to the Jamie's Italian family: Brighton! 2 floors, lots of re-claimed wood (to give it that nautical feel; you can see the sea from the front door), a wood-fired oven where we bake fresh fish every day, plus a gorgeous rooftop courtyard complete with hanging lanterns and antique oak beams from a French barn.
This restaurant, in typical Jamie's Italian style, is full of contrasts; the signage is wood-carved but upstairs, the centre-piece of the dining room is a gloriously pretty pink chandelier! There's the usual graffiti - pink swirls upstairs, edgy zebra-stripes with trainers in the main restaurant. The kitchen is high tech, the wood fired oven lends itself to really rustic dishes.
As a location, it's perfect - the sea on one side and Brighton's famous Lanes (a labyrinth of streets where shops are individual, quirky and enduringly popular) on the other. We also have a wonderful team in place, led by GM Sarah Tinker-Taylor and Head Chef, Lorenzo Schiaffini.
