Hot on the heels of our Guildford restaurant is the opening of our first restaurant in Wales and Jamie's pretty chuffed with it!  "I'm very proud to be here and we're thinking of it as a foreign country in order to embrace the Welsh produce and language".  Cardiff opened on November 16th and the team of 100 is ably led by Tom James who is Welsh born and bred!  A Jamie's Italian ‘veteran', Tom was previously the General Manager of Bath which opened last October and he's excited about the change of cities.  "I had an amazing year in Bath with a great team of people so it was hard on one level to make the move but not that hard - it's Cardiff!  How could I say no!  What a great opportunity for me to get back to my roots and spear head something really special in such an awesome city"
