"Do you have disabled access in your restaurants?"

All of our restaurants have facilities to ensure that we can look after disabled guests in a respectul way.  Our Bath and Brighton restaurants have elevator style lifts so that those guests in wheelchairs can access the majority of the restaurant.  Please contact the restaurant directly if you wish to discuss any specific requirements and we'll do our very best to accommodate you.

"Do your waiting staff keep their own tips?"

Yes.  All cash tips are retained by the waiter and any credit card tips or service charges are taxed and paid into their wages.  A small proportion of the credit card tips are taken out and distributed among those team members who don't receive tips.  This is to recognise that the whole team are involved in creating a fantastic experience for our guests and acts as a thank you from the waiting team.

"Do you cater for people with special dietary requirements?"

Our menu is designed to be as flexible as possible.  We will always try to adapt dishes to suit guests with specific requirements as much as we can and all of our wait staff are fully trained on the ingredients of different dishes.  Please feel free to contact the restaurant directly if you have any concerns prior to your visit.

"I'm a local supplier who would like to supply Jamie's Italian"

We're proud to have established a great list of suppliers, based on their ability to provide high quality produce that is accessible to our expanding group of restaurants and also, the authenticity which is essential to our menu. If you are a local supplier, please send details of what you produce direct to the restaurant, for the attention of our Head Chef. We will review the menu on a regular basis and if the need for a new supplier arises, there may be an opportunity to get involved.

"It's my parent's anniversary and they love Jamie's Italian.  I'd love to treat them to a meal  Do you sell gift vouchers?"

We sell gift vouchers in £10 denominations and they are valid for any of our restaurants with no 'use by' date!  We don't currently have the facilities to sell these over the phone but if you drop in to one of the restaurants you can pick them up.  We can also take cheque payments and can post them to you if you don't live locally.

"How often does Jamie visit?"

Jamie is a busy man!  He's been to all the restaurants before they've opened to chat to the teams and, understandably, he is heavily involved with sourcing ingredients and working with our Executive and Senior Chefs to continue to improve the menu regularly.  He has his name above the door and trusts the whole team to be his ambassadors so he needn't worry. Saying that though, you just never know when he'll stop by!

"Do you support charities and local organisations?"

Our nominated charity is the Fifteen foundation and they receive the majority of our support.  We do try and support as many local charitable events as possible that we feel are relevant to our business and local community.  Regrettably we are unable to support every charity that asks for our help.

"There's a Jamie's Italian opening in my home town.  How do I get a table for the opening night party?"

We would never open a Jamie's Italian to the general public unless we were absolutely certain that the team were ready and fully confident they can deliver the best service and standards.  This is one of the the reasons that we don't have launch parties or opening night parties.  When we do open it simply is business as usual!

"I have 3 young children and I wanted to bring them for lunch.  Do you have a kid's menu?"

Accessible is a key word for us and of course, this extends to children. Our restaurants are child friendly and all children old enough to draw will be given crayons and a colouring sheet when they sit down. Our children's menu is listed on a "viewfinder" - the novelty of using this to choose what to eat is often the highlight of the meal! But when it comes, the food is good, simple and wholesome. A variety of pasta dishes - fresh, using the same sauce base as the grown up versions - plus free range chicken and a great quality burger. Everything comes with a kid's sized salad (and if you eat your greens, you get a badge) and Bottle Green organic cordial is also included.
