Australia is full of many talented chefs, many of whom are big advocates for getting people back to basics and in the kitchen again. On the ground in Australia, the following chefs and TV personalities are Jamie’s Ministry of Food Ambassadors who believe in Jamie’s philosophy about getting back to basics.



Ben O'Donoghue

Having been interested in food and cooking since childhood, for chef, author and television presenter Ben O’Donoghue, cooking is a passion. He unequivocally believes that food should be simple and distinctive and this is evident through his dedication to providing good food and information about a relaxed way to prepare and serve it.

As Co-Owner and Executive Chef for Brisbane restaurant and bar South Bank Surf Club, Ben's career spans a variety high ranking restaurants around the world, television shows, cookbooks, and professional appearances including MasterChef.

Anna Gare

Anna Gare is recognised as one of the most popular chefs on Australian television. Most recently she undertook the challenging role of Judge on Junior Masterchef, a role, which has garnered her Logie nomination and a legion of new fans across Australia.

Anna developed her culinary career in various restaurants around Australia. In addition to running her own catering company, the highly regarded Deluxe Catering, Anna has gathered 22 years' experience in the food hospitality industry.

Ian Curley

As Executive Chef of the ever popular EUROPEAN Group venues, Ian Curley is a very busy Chef. With four venues, three kitchens, a team of over 30 staff, plus an ever-expanding public role, Ian is a Chef very much in demand.

Ian Curley was born is Coventry, England in 1964 however, in 1988 moved to Australia and is considered one of Australia's first class

Tobie Puttock

Tobie Puttock’s love affair with Italian food began whilst working in Melbourne’s acclaimed Caffe e Cucina. In London, Tobie worked at the River Cafe, alongside a bevy of high-profile chefs, including Jamie Oliver.

Tobie was the first Head Chef of the restaurant Fifteen in London and, in 2006, opened a Fifteen restaurant in Melbourne.

After 22 years working in kitchens in many countries Tobie has turned his focus to several projects that he is super passionate about including a series of ebooks, a book on clean eating that he co-authored with his wife Georgia due for a mid 2015 release as well as a food range that draws on his knowledge of Italian cooking .

Tobie is the author of Daily Italian, Cook like an Italian and Italian Local.
