The Ministry of Food is a fun and inspiring project that helps nurture the talents of the unique Newham community. It relies on events and creative use of on-line media to actively engage the community. It operates as a social business and uses the project profits to fund its activities. Jamie's Ministry of Food, Stratford, presently operates as a mobile project, bringing cooking lessons and demonstrations to schools, community centres and business across the borough of Newham. However, the project is actively seeking the support of the public and local business to enable it to open a permanent Food Centre in the borough.
