Knowing how to cook for you and your family from scratch is one of the most important skills you will ever learn. Courses run throughout the year, and our Ministry of Food teams will be only too happy to welcome you to a class, or to have a chat with you if you would just like some more information.

The success of our Ministry of Food projects is in no small part down to our terrific – and vital - team of project Volunteers. Volunteers are a core part of the campaign and help Centre staff manage classes and engage with their communities at events and outreach sessions. We are always looking for new recruits to the join the Ministry of Food teams. There are lots of ways to get involved and even opportunities for groups of friends, or families, to volunteer or attend classes together. No prior experience is needed, just a willingness to help, so why not contact your local project, find out more and join in?
