Made by Rick Sheepshanks and Peter Kerr at their Saucery in Suffolk, this beetroot relish is a classic British pickle, made to a traditional method. Spoon the shreds of beetroot in their syrupy sauce onto a plate of roast beef, smoked salmon or cheese. With its gorgeous ruby red colour, it looks as good as it tastes. But don’t dribble it down your chin or you’ll be left with a stain. 225g
