American oak is designer Phil Longstaff’s favourite material. Here he’s taken its handsome grain and colour and created a soft, fluid shape that can be used as a platter or serving tray. With its softly turned edge and natural oak hue, this tray makes a homemade apple tart look magical, or use it as a drinks tray to hand around some strawberry martinis before dinner.
