Win an iPod Touch!
Calling all amateur food photographers: we're holding a very special competition for all those people out there who can't resist taking a snap of their supper.
In our latest issue, we feature an interview with Jamie's photographer friend, David Loftus, who has created a 'Foodie Snap Pak' for Hipstamatic. The lovely people at Hisptamatic have donated an iPod Touch to be given away as a prize, so in the spirit of things, we've decided to do a food photography competition. We'd like you guys to take some beautiful pics of seasonal food or recipes that best represent wherever you are in the world, and send them to us.
Whatever phone you use, be it a smartphone or film or digital camera, we want to see what you can do! The winner – as judged by David Loftus, Jamie Oliver and our art director, Adrienne Pitts – will receive an iPod touch, and their photos will be published in the magazine and on jamieoliver.com. A selection of runners-up will also get the chance to have their photos published in the magazine and online.
To enter, email us a maximum of 3 photographs to: photocomp@jamiemagazine.com, including your name, contact details, the type of camera used and a brief explanation about the photos you have taken. Please read the terms & conditions before entering.
General competition terms and conditions
Competitions are only open to UK residents unless otherwise stated and not open to employees of the Jamie Oliver group of companies and/or affiliated companies, or members of their families. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-changeable and no cash alternatives are available. Only one entry is permitted per person and the editor's decision is final. No responsibility can be accepted for late entries; proof of sending a letter or email is not proof of receipt of entry. Unless specified otherwise, if a prize remains unclaimed for six months it will not be awarded, provided reasonable attempts have been made to contact the winner using the contact details supplied. By entering, you confirm that we may make any use of your entry as we require, including publishing it on the magazine or website. Unless specified, competitions close 08 March 2012.

iPod Touch competition The competition is open to amateur photographers, using any type of camera. The competition is open to people from any country. Entrants must be 18 years or older. The work must be original and unpublished and only one entry per person is permitted. The topic is seasonal food. There will be one winner, who will receive an iPod Touch, worth £169, featuring Hipstamatic. The judges are Jamie Oliver, David Loftus and Adrienne Pitts, and the judges’ decision is final. In addition to the winning entry, a selection of the best submitted photographs will appear in Jamie Magazine and on jamieoliver.com. Only one entry per person and proof of having sent the photographs is not proof of receipt. Each entry should comprise a maximum of three images, taken by the entrant specifically for the competition – after 25 December 2011. If using digital photography, please make sure the EXIF data remains unchanged. The images should be sent to us as low resolution (72dpi) JPEGs, and each image should be no more than 2MB. By entering the competition you confirm that you have obtained all the necessary permissions from any subjects and that copyright is not infringed. The winner, and others selected for publication, will need to provide high resolution (300dpi) images, otherwise the photographs cannot be published and, in the case of the winner, the prize will be forfeited. By entering into this competition entrants agree to allow Jamie Magazine to publish their entries in any version of the magazine, online at jamieoliver.com and to their use for promotional purposes. The winner’s contact details will be passed on to Hipstamatic, who will buy a gift card, valued at £169, in that person’s name at their nearest Apple store. No cash equivalent or alternative prizes are available. The competition closes 15 February 2012. The winner will be contacted by 15 March 2012. The winner will be announced in Issue 28 of Jamie Magazine, and their photos will appear in the same issue. Sweeney Todd competition The competition closes 8 March 2012. The prize is a West End Weekend for two. It includes: two tickets to Sweeney Todd at the Adelphi Theatre (tickets are valid for Friday and Saturday performances until 28 April 2012); accommodation at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel for the night of the performance, based on two people sharing a double or twin room; pre-theatre dinner for the night of the performance (restaurant to be selected by promoter); two interval drinks (a glass of house wine, beer or soft drink); and one show programme. Subject to availability. Travel and any additional expenses are not included. The prize is non-transferable. There is no cash alternative. The winner will be chosen at random from the correct entries and notified by 19 March 2012.
