Amazing new music and food acts have been added to Jamie Oliver and Alex James’ Big Feastival 2013.
Soul singer and winner of iTunes Album of the Year 2012, Lianne La Havas, will join Rizzle Kicks and Basement Jaxx on the Saturday bill, with Take That’s Mark Owen set to perform tracks from new album on Sunday alongside KT Tunstall and The Feeling.
Saturday will also see performances from Norwegian sensation Bernhoft and classic 90’s power pop band Dodgy while Sunday festival-goers can look forward to actor Laurence Fox showcasing his acoustic talents and an infectious summer set from London rockers The Milk.
Chart topping music acts aside, The Big Feastival features an incredible selection of the UK’s finest food producers and a stellar bill of the nation’s top chefs on the Electrolux Big Kitchen stage. Bolstering an already high quality chef line up including Jamie Oliver, Gennaro Contaldo and Valentine Warner, is star of TV’s ‘The Little Paris Kitchen’ Rachel Khoo, Scotland’s youngest Michelin starred chef Tom Kitchin, former Roux Scholar and Bocuse d’Or entrant Simon Hulstone and young guns Jonray and Peter Sanchez Iglesias from Bristol’s boundary pushing Casamia restaurant.
Offering a fun-filled festival experience for all ages, The Big Feastival is delighted to reveal that children’s TV favourite, Justin Fletcher from CBeebies, will be taking to the main stage for a very special Sunday afternoon live performance of his biggest hits. With family entertainment including Adam Henson’s Cotswolds Farm Park, the Big Top tent, arts workshops, cooking schools and a vintage funfair, there is something for everyone at this year’s event.
