With a very exciting and busy England Cricket test season ahead, Jamie’s Fabulous Feasts has been awarded the status of sole public caterer at the Home of Cricket, Lord’s.
Kicking off on Thursday, the first day of the New Zealand test series and for a minimum of three years, Fab Feasts will be catering for the public at the iconic ground from the Lord’s Food Village.
To make this happen, Fab Feasts has been working hard producing eight new food outlets to install at Lord’s serving everything from flame-grilled British burgers and juicy American-style hot dogs loaded with tasty toppings, to spicy and authentic curries complete with crispy poppadom shards.
There will also be a traditional beer-battered fish & chip stall and a selection of hot, wholesome and homemade pies, as well as marinated chicken on a bed of summer salad, fresh baps crammed full of pulled British meats and chargrilled veggies, and Mexican-style burritos stuffed with delicious spices.
The team will be using fresh, local ingredients wherever possible to make sure that quality is second to none; guaranteeing spectators loads of choice and the most delicious food!
Jamie said during a visit on Thursday: “I’m thrilled that Fab Feasts have won the contract for Lord’s – it’s a real honour. Lord’s is such a historic place and I can’t wait for people to see what we’ve got planned. It’s going to be match-day food like you’d never expect; we’re talking big flavour, lots of choice, and dishes that are guaranteed to put a big smile on your face. I believe we can make people enjoy their day out even more.”
