Jamie is all set to open his latest restaurant venture, Jamie’s Diner, in the heart of London’s Theatreland.

The concept is simple – great food made from amazing produce in the funkiest of surroundings. There’s gourmet hotdogs and amazing shakes, top salads and fries with a twist and all with a helping of Jamie’s magic, with the help of Head Chef Arthur Potts Dawson.

Oh and there’s a blooming great dinosaur as well, hanging over the central staircase created by artist Jay Jay Burridge.

This all comes in the same week that Jamie’s Fifteen London unveiled its refurbishment to the public – keep an eye out for a guided tour video very soon.

    When does Jamies’s Diner open?

  • Jane

I have been there recently. Would advice Jamie to look at the quality: the tomato juice was tasteless, and ribs served hardly warm. And there were not that many people at that time to blame a rush hour. I am a huge fan of J Oliver’s apps and books. So hope my comment will be useful

Just visited this diner today, I would NEVER return! It is a very clear case of style over substance! The diner looks lovely the attention to detail was great, however during all the planning for the ‘look’ the food quality has been over looked! The feta salad was a large bowl of leaves with burnt pitta and practically no feta! My husbands burger was very ordinary and the kids meals were a joke – in fact we sent them back! We ordered 2 chicken lollipops with salad, yoghurt dip and wedges. What arrived left us speechless for £9 the kids received 1 small mini fillet ( no lollipop) it was burnt not chargrilled, and no exaggeration 3 YES 3 small chips not wedges!! When I challenged this I was told that was a portion – no way – they did bring it back with more chips but I have to say I found the whole experience disappointing and over priced – such a shame every other ‘Jamie’ restaurant I’ve visited has always been fantastic

I’m sorry to the people below – but we went here a few months ago and LOVED IT!!!!! It was such an amazing experience, original diner food but with the tasty Jamie Oliver touch that we were expecting having been to previous restaurants of yours. It rounded off our treat day nicely! Thanks guys! :)
Quick question: any chance of some tips on how we can get our chicken like your chicken in a basket???!! I’m sure it’s a treasured secret but I’m making New Years eve dinner and really want to wow the crowd!!

Went to the J Oliver Diner today whilst in London. Look of the place excellent, very unique. Food excellent as is standard with ALL Jamie’s places. The guys working there could not do enough for us.
    HIGHLY recommended……. 5*

After my visit to the Diner I was disappointed to hear that the chef thinks Organic chicken should be served pink! And the look of raw, pink meat is actually how to cook organic chicken! There was I thinking this was a recipe for food poisoning!

Had dinner with my daughter at Jamie Oliver`s Diner today. Loved the chicken burger, as there were plenty of vegetables and greens on the plate. (Most Norwegians love vegetables ) Nice fries too, with fresh herbs! And the burger bread was awesome :) Nice price as well! We`ll be back :)
