Father's Day breakfast

This Sunday, 18 June, is Father’s Day – the perfect opportunity to spoil your old man with his favourite food. We’ve got recipes to help you keep him happy from dawn until dusk, with big-hitters like Jamie’s insanity burger and a classic Old Fashioned cocktail all included.

BREAKFAST

Get your dad’s day off to a cracking start with a timeless breakfast classic: eggs Benedict. Here, Jamie shares a few handy tips that make this elegant dish super-simple. Easy hollandaise sauce and perfect poached eggs every time!

LUNCH
If you’re going all-out at dinner time, keep things light at lunch with a picnic or a simple sandwich. Don’t fret, though: a light bite can still pack a punch! Quick flatbreads with avocado or classic fish finger sarnies are both super-fast to put together, or, if lunch is the main event, get the grill going and take Father’s Day to another level with Jamie’s insanity burger (best served with an ice-cold tipple).

DINNER
Dish up a real show-stopper for your Dad at dinner time. Get a luxurious steak bang-on with our how-to guide, or try something different and treat him to a vegetable feastcharred pepper kebabs, Mexican grilled corn and super salads will all hit the spot, even if your dad isn’t a veggie.

A NIGHT CAP
Finish off a day of feasting by raising a glass of something special. If whisky is his thing, get a classic Old Fashioned on the go. For something more refreshing, opt for a glass of elderflower cordial or homemade lemonade – both are perfect served with ice and fresh mint. Cheers!
