cook-mothers-day-News-story
Mothering Sunday is a great time to make up for all the fab meals your mum cooked for you as a kid. So spoil her, and although this isn’t a menu for every day, you could just take two of the courses for inspiration….
Kick things off with this simple Tomato and Basil Bruschetta – fresh and tasty and easy to eat with a glass of bubbly Prosecco in the other hand.

Spoil mum with an indulgent and juicy Roast Rib of Beef – watch Jamie’s Head Chef from Barbecoa and Matt the Barbecoa butcher show you how to cook the perfect meat.

As side dish – rather than roasties – why not let the meat be the star of the show and serve mum this virtuous and handsome salad to accompany the rib?

Finish it all off – well it is a special day after all – with the Queen of the house tucking into Jamie’s King of Puddings.

Then give the old girl a kiss and thank her for being the best mum in the world….
