Story by Kym Cunningham

Jamie’s Ministry of Food North East provided a demonstration of Chicken Fajitas, Salsa and Guacamole for the launch event of ‘Change 4 Life East Newcastle’. This event took place at Walker Technology College and people from across the city were invited. This included teachers from local primary and secondary schools, health professionals, health promotion organisations and anyone else who wanted to find out what services were available in their local area.

The event was a huge success and has hopefully inspired people to get more involved in cooking, as well as showing them the opportunities available to them through a Ministry of Food Cookery course.
