Story by Paul Dring

Jamie Magazine has received three nominations in the shortlists of the PPA Awards 2010, which were announced today. The magazine has been nominated for Specialist Consumer Magazine of the Year, Andy Harris has been nominated for Editor of the Year and art director Adrienne Pitts has been nominated for Designer of the Year.

The PPA Awards, given annually by UK trade body the Periodical Publishers’ Association, are the most high-profile and sought-after accolades in British magazine publishing. Jamie’s rivals in the Specialist Consumer Magazine of the Year category include Radio Times, Country Living, Which? Computing and Lonely Planet, as well as younger readers’ favourite Fun to Learn Peppa Pig. Meanwhile, Andy Harris is up against the editors of Grazia, Elle, Wallpaper*, New Statesman, Esquire and Harper’s Bazaar, among others.

The winners will be revealed at a gala dinner to be held at London’s Grosvenor House hotel on 16 June. For more information about the awards.
