On an unbelievably stormy day, a Hoxton rooftop played host to a Jamie masterclass as he explained the basics of simple barbecue veg.

How to get the best out of your beautiful courgettes, carrots, aubergine, fennel bulbs, squash with your grill.

Jamie says: “Even though the British summer hasn’t been at its best this year, a lot of the country’s beautiful, fresh garden produce has been thriving. So why not turn it into a simple barbecue dish? Here I explain my barbecue process and how to get the best flavour out of your veg.”
