Story by Kate Sergent
We are just about to launch a variety of new seasonal dishes to our fabulous Easy to Go and Easy to Learn menus.
EASY TO GO: drop into one of our shops and pick up a freshly made meal for you, a meal for two or something for the whole family. Our new seasonal menu includes a scrumptious sausage stew (outdoor reared free-range pork sausages in a rich tomato and basil sauce with butter beans, fresh rosemary, pancetta and chunks of bread) or if you’re feeling under the weather, why not try our amazing free-range chicken noodle soup which will fix you right up! If you’re rushed for time, our nutritious stir fry which takes minutes to cook is great for the whole family. Try it in prawn, beef, chicken or vegetable.
There is a special offer on at the moment called “Tuck in for a Tenner” – pick up a meal for two + a double side, soup or pudding for £10! More details in the stores.
EASY TO LEARN: is your New Year’s resolution for 2010 to learn how to cook? Then why not start by booking an easy to learn cooking session! Our most popular cooking lesson, “Champion Knife Skills”, has now evolved due to popular demand! Choose “Champion Knife Skills 1″ and you'll learn how to chop, dice and slice, then end up making a Thai-style mango salad with pan fried prawns. In the slightly more advanced “Champion Knife Skills 2″ you'll learn how to use a boning knife on a whole free range chicken. Other great new lessons include learning how to make fragrant Thai green curry, fusion broths or the classical bouillabaisse. See our full list of lessons.
BREAKFAST + LUNCH: It’s brand spanking new in our shops! We now offer a delicious eat-in or take away breakfast and lunch menu for you to enjoy. Come in and grab yourself a fresh gourmet Italian coffee whilst one of our chef's prepare whatever takes your fancy from our menu in front of you. Want to kick start the new year with a healthy diet? Our menu includes dishes such as the breakfast Muesli Deluxe (crunchy toasted muesli with creamy low fat yoghurt and honey, fresh berries and fruit puree) or something for lunch like the Salad Trio (a plate of three of our tastiest homemade salads -roasted pumpkin and crumbly feta, bulgur wheat and golden roast veg and crunchy brocoli and pancetta).
The Recipease team at Clapham Junction were very excited recently when Jamie showed up with his mate Chris Moyles for an “Easy to learn” session. Jamie and Chris took the curry with jasmine rice and onion bajis class. Chris loves his curries and Jamie was really impressed with Chris’s cooking skills. The Recipease team says that Chris had a great night and that he really enjoyed sitting down afterwards to eat the lovely curry that he cooked from scratch.
*lunch available Brighton shop only.
