jamie’s food revolution wins emmy award
Mon 23 Aug 2010 @ 12:02 | story by Danny McCubbinThis weekend Jamie found out that his first US network TV series, Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution, won an Emmy award for Outstanding Reality Program. His first thanks goes out to all of the 614,000 people who have helped to get his campaign for better food started by signing the petition. Jamie also extended his thanks to the fantastic production team that helped him to make the show: "A massive congrats to the team - we won the Emmy for the Food Revolution, guys! Such amazing news! I’m so proud. Big love to all involved in Huntington."
Jamie's Food Revolution campaign is about getting America cooking again – more cooking at home, more freshly cooked meals at school and people cooking in the community. Jamie says, "This food revolution is about saving America's health by changing the way you eat. It's much more than just a TV show, it's a movement for you, your family and your community. If you care about your kids and their future take this revolution and make it your own. Educate yourself about food and cooking. Find out what your child is eating at school. Make only a few small changes and magical things will happen. Switching from processed to fresh food will not only make you feel better but it will add years to your life."
Since the TV show ended in April Jamie has been keeping things moving with regular newsletters and special video messages to campaign supporters. The next phase of the Food Revolution launches this fall. You can find out more, sign the petition and subscribe to newsfeeds here.

I am so passionate about Cooking and eating healthy organic food !!! I love it whn you find a nice little place in an organic farm or under a tree and setup your portable BBQ and have your little chopping board and go and pick lovely fresh organic food (like i do at my local organic farm and the market that i go to in Brisbane City Australia) and chop it all up and prepare it right there on the spot and cook it and eat it!!!! My heart begins to get so excited and i literually go coocoo on the counch in awe and pure jealousy of you you are the biggest inspiration to me in my entire life !!!! Now i have grownup watching footy every friday and sunday nights and love it so much like a religon but even though it (Your Show) clashed with the Footy i still wanted to watched your show more and so i did... i watched your show and watched the footy in the Ad break !!!
When you said on the show and i quote" Its sad they don't get me... they dont understand why i am here doing this ...this is not about me i am here because i really do care about these kids" and "i really love when there's those who just get it straight away" (the lady who took down the posters of flavored milks) .... Well Jamie i get you , i got you right from the start not just of this series i'm talking about when you first burst onto the celebrity chef scene!!!
