Recipease is all about getting truly fantastic food on your table. That means everything that goes into our dishes is high-quality stuff from equally passionate suppliers.
We change our menu throughout the year to make the most of the fantastic food each season has to offer. Freshness is what it's all about and our Food to Go meals are made fresh every day in our shops. Drop in and you'll see our guys bustling about chopping herbs and stirring sauces.
We've sourced incredible ingredients for our dishes. Where we can, we go local to get the best of the season's fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish. For certain ingredients, like our cheeses, you can't beat going right to the source. For example, our feta is from Greece and our cured meats are from family producers in Italy. They invented the stuff and they know how to do it best.
Good ingredients
For us, an ingredient doesn't just have to taste amazing, it has to have been grown or raised in a way that we can all feel good about. All of our beef is British and we only use free range chickens from Norfolk. They are a slow growing breed and are allowed to roam freely and express their natural behaviour. Likewise, we only use free-range eggs, laid by happy, healthy chickens and we're careful to use sustainably caught fish. All our pork is outdoor reared, because pigs that are allowed to roam free and wallow lead a happy life.
Keeping the balance
Our menu mixes things up with plenty of meat, fish and veg dishes. They're all packed full of vitamins and minerals – all the lovely healthy stuff that's good for you. There's the odd treat in there too: the idea is to balance the indulgent dishes with something lighter during the day, so you can really enjoy a bit of everything.
No nasties
We give our dishes loads of flavour simply by packing them full of lovely fresh herbs and spices. There are no added artificial preservatives, flavourings or colourings.
