What it's like to work here?
We have really unique shops, which also means we have a unique atmosphere in the shops. Everyone's part of the Jamie Oliver family, so we look after you as well as we look after everyone else in our group. We aim for Recipease to be a fun place to work, where you're rewarded for working hard and doing a great job. We like to keep things simple and love hearing great ideas for better ways to do things from everyone. Recipease is still a new business and it'll need to adjust and adapt over time, so we look for people who are able to adapt and grow with us in the future.

What happens next?
Once we've received your application we'll get in touch with you if we have a vacancy that we think you'd be suitable for. We'll have a quick chat to make sure it's something you'd be suitable for and if it is, you'll be invited to come in for an interview. As soon as we've made up our minds we'll get back in touch again. Hopefully we'll have something to offer you and hopefully you'll want to accept it!
Our roles
There are five main roles in each store: Store Manager, Shift Supervisor, Teaching Chef's, Retail Specialist and Food Specialist. You'll be able to find out more about each one here:
Store manager
This is the person who's responsible for everything that goes on in each Recipease shop. They ensure the quality of what's happening and make sure it's just as good as it would be if Jamie were there everyday. They also look after the team in each shop to make sure they're happy and well trained, all the time being responsible for the financial well-being of the shop and making sure it's doing really good business.

Shift supervisor
These are the people who look after the Retail team on a day-to-day basis. They work with the Store Manager to make sure the team are well briefed, that each shift runs smoothly and that the shop is opened up and closed down properly. Our Shift Supervisors also work with our Teaching Chefs to make sure they have everything they need to do their jobs really well.

Head chef
This is the person responsible to ensure all the food is amazing. You will be responsible for managing our prep kitchen, food production for our café and preparation for our cooking lessons. You’ll lead, inspire, motivate and develop our kitchen team and Teaching Chefs, encouraging them to share their passion and knowledge for food with our locals, our customers and the rest of our team, reflecting the ‘Jamie Magic’ in what we do and how we work with food.
Teaching Chefs - now hiring in Notting Hill!
These are the people who lead the cookery sessions and ensure the quality of the food for the Food to Go meals for Recipease are surperb. They use their brilliant communication skills to pass on all the recipes and techniques to people who want to learn to cook Jamie-style. They also look after the prep kitchen in the shop, making sure it runs really efficiently and they make sure everyone understands how to make the food on the Recipease menu to the quality that we expect.

These are the people working in the prep kitchen in each shop turning great ingredients into fantastic meals. They prep meat, fish and veg as well as cooking down some fantastic sauces for our cookery sessions and keep the kitchen brilliantly clean and organised.

These people work on the shop floor ensuring that all our visitors are made to feel welcome and are well looked after whether they're attending a lesson, buying a meal to go or just browsing for inspiration. They handle all our payments and ensure that our shops look great all the time.
