In the Easy to Make session, do I have to follow the recipes exactly?
The great thing about Easy to Make is you can leave out any ingredients that you dont want, so the meal is exactly how you like it. Though we would always recommend that you follow the recipe so that you can enjoy the meal as we intended.
Is there any assistance during a Make session?
Absolutely. We have trained cooks who are there to assist you throughout, from tips and advice about ingredients, to the best techniques to use during the preparation of your meals.
How late can I book an Easy to Learn lesson or an Easy to Make session?
You can book either of these two events online up to 24 hours before the start time. Of course this is dependent upon the space availability for the event.
How far in advance can I book the Easy to Make sessions and the Easy to Learn Lessons?
You can book up to a month in advance for both Easy to Learn and Easy to Make. Our bookings calendar shows the current and following months Make sessions and Learn lessons.
Is my make booking just for me?
The place that you reserve at our Make session is just for you. We have limited space and availability on the Make station, therefore if you want to attend a session with some friends we ask that each person books and selects their place individually.
Am I able to book a whole Learn lesson or Make session for a single group?
Yes you are able to book an entire session for a single group online. Please note that the place you reserve on our Make session is just for you, so you will need to book each person individually.
What do I have to bring with me?
The only thing that you need to bring is the print out of your order confirmation. Other than that, just bring yourself. We do provide lockers for your personal belongings. However please try to limit the amount and value of your personal items as space is limited and we are not able to take any responsibility for your personal property.
What do I have to wear?
We provide you with an apron to protect your clothes, although we recommend that you attend the sessions and lessons in practical clothing. Gloves are also available should you wish to wear them.
Can I bring my children with me?
You can definitely bring your kids with you and encourage them to get involved in Make sessions, though they must be supervised by a parent or a guardian at all times. Please have a look at our terms and condition for further information or contact your local shop.
Are there ever any kids lessons?
As you know Jamie is always keen to get kids involved in cooking as much as possible, so we run special kids lessons on occasions during each month. Please check the website to see if there are any available.
Are there any age restrictions to the Easy to Learn Lessons?
To take part in an Easy to Learn lesson children have to be at least 12 years of age and accompanied by an adult. However we will run lessons for younger kids so look at the details for certain lessons as many of them maybe suitable for kids of a younger age.
How often do the Easy to Learn lessons change?
The Easy to Learn lessons change on a regular basis. Each lesson is usually run on a different day each week, so if you cant make a lesson on a certain weekday, dont worry, it will be available on a different day in the upcoming weeks.
How do I pay?
For Easy to Make and Easy to Learn prepayment is taken through the online booking process with any major credit or debit card.
How do I cancel?
If you want to cancel either an Easy to Make session, or an Easy to Learn cooking lesson we ask that you contact the our customer service team at least 24 hours before you were due to attend the event to receive a full refund. Unfortunately we can not offer a refund after this time. For any cancellations please call 0845 279 7272.
Can I change my order or date for an Easy to Make session, or the date of my Learn lesson once it has been placed?
If you would like to change any details of your order for either Easy to Make or Easy to Learn, please contact our customer services on 0845279 7272 at least 24 hours before you were due to attend. After this time we may be unable to accommodate any changes you may have wanted.
Does your menu change?
Our menu changes reguarly so we can offer you the best seasonal meals and ingredients available at the time. However we are sure that there will be some real favourites and these will remain on the menu for you to enjoy.
What are the portion sizes of the meals?
The meals for Easy to Make and Go come in Single, Double and Family sizes, and in true Jamie style each portion is a hearty size. However not all of the meals are available in each portion size, so please check our menu for the portion size availability.
How long will the food last once I have taken it home?
The shelf life varies for each meal due to the ingredients. Please see our menu for shelf life details on each meal. This information is also on the packaging of each meal.
Can I freeze the dishes that I prepare, or buy from your Go range?
Some meals can be frozen, while others due to their ingredients can only be refrigerated. Please see our menu to see if a certain meal can be frozen.
Are your ingredients all natural?
For us, with great food comes great responsibility. Ingredients dont just have to taste amazing, they have to be grown or raised, then delivered to our shops in a way that we can all feel good about. We have sourced all of our high quality ingredients very carefully and are working with like-minded suppliers, to bring you beautiful food. Our food is free from nasties and artificial additives and we know youll enjoy eating it
Do you offer vegetarian meals?
We do offer vegetarian meals. Those that are suitable are marked with a V on our menu.
Do you cater to people with allergies?
We try our best to offer a menu that can be enjoyed by all. Please check each meal and the respective allergy icons and ingredient information on the menu to see if a meal is suitable for you. Please note that ingredients may have been manufactured on shared equipment with wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, fish, soya and shell fish and other allergens. Please call the shop for help with any food allergies.
Are there cooking instructions for when I get home?
All of the cooking instructions are on the packaging of the meals as well as being on the website, so youll always be able to find them easily.
What are your opening and closing times?
Please see your shops location page for details on the opening and closing times.
Are you open on Bank Holidays?
We are open on the majority of Bank holidays, however do check your shop's location page for details on whether it is open or not.
Is your packaging eco-friendly?
Were working hard to ensure our packaging has the lowest possible impact on the environment. All of our trays, boxes, bags, outer sleeves and baking paper come from sustainable sources and are fully recyclable and compostable. All of our large clear food pots are made from renewable plant materials - currently a corn bi-product - and are biodegradable and compostable. However we do still have more work to do. Currently we're striving to source a sustainable and recyclable alternative to cling film and the lids that we currently use to seal our trays, so if you think you can help please get in touch with us as wed love to hear from you so we can improve on this (please send all your ideas to feedback@recipease.com).
