pizza with smoked pancetta, mozzarella, fresh chilli and tomatoes
Smear the
tomato sauce evenly over the
pizza base. Tear the mozzarella into pieces and dob these over, then scatter over as much chilli as you like and season with salt and pepper. Lay the pancetta over the top so it will crisp up during cooking and the juices will cook into the pizza. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and cook until crisp and golden.
Ingredients
• 6 tablespoons tomato sauce
• 85g/3oz mozzarella
• 1 fresh red chilli, finely sliced
• sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
• 4 or 5 slices of smoked pancetta, thinly sliced
• extra virgin olive oil

Jamie I have to say without a doubt that you rock!!! I have always been very interested in your style of cooking as you make it so uncomplicated, "eezy peezy". This Pizza is unbelievably wonderful. My partner is so damn fussy and he really enjoyed it. Thanks!! Oh and thanks for the word Pukker... Sunny SA
