This looks delicious, I've never tried cooking a meal from scratch before but I am following you (Jamie Oliver) on twitter to learn a thing or to. I've always liked food, some reason I've never tried cooking. Thanks for sharing this on twitter.
Carrot & Orange Salad<br /> <br /> 4 small carrots peeled<br /> Juice of ½ orange<br /> Extra virgin olive oil<br /> Red wine vinegar<br /> Small bunch of fresh mint, leaves picked, largest ones torn<br /> Sea salt & freshly ground pepper<br /> <br /> Using a speed peeler or mandolin, or the grater or julienne cutter of your food processor if you've got one, shred your carrots as finely as possible into a bowl. Dress them with the orange juice, a good lug of extra virgin olive oil, a splash of red wine vinegar, the mint leaves and a pinch of salt and pepper, then toss and take to the table or divide between your plates.<br />
