Top notch recipe, 20 minutes, fresh tasting, great solid weeknight dinner for working parents.
Here we go again! Spaghetti should never be used as a side dish, especially with meatballs.
From an Italian's point of view, its the typical Anglo Barbarian approach to two distinct dishes!
Brilliant! My wife loves this. This has become our standard pasta.
Cheers
http://www.flickr.com/photos/htkm/5509087577/
thanks Jamie, I varied this recipe using spicy lamb sausages and simmered the tomatoes with cumin, sun-dried tomatoes, calamata olives and mint and raisins creating a North African flare. You can also add smokey chili (chipotole) But the meatball concept is brilliant. PS: doesn't work with merguez. But I ended up making a stew with the merguez

Hi, from Portugal here, just to say that this recipe is GREAT, just had the meatballs with mashed potatoes, but I made the tomato sauce with a little garlic and a tablespoon or so, of curry sauce. It was de-li-ci-ous!
Thanks for the inspiration and great ideas!
I saw this recipe in your book "At home with Jamie" and thought it a good recipe to use while my son and I were away camping in the summer. It was really quick and easy to make and also very tasty too. We both really enjoyed it. One to remember for future camping trips.
Loved the new TV series Ministry of food. I hope it has inspired a lot of people to pick up the pan and get cooking.
Cheers
Martyn

hi, i have been trying out your recipes they are brilliant easy to learn i amonly 21 with a little boy and we both love eating your food thankyou, rachael.
as a 37 year old male with 3 older sisters, one of which trained as a chef I've never cooked or needed to. I've taken inspiration from the fact that although you've made it and could spend your time doing other, more selfish things you choose to invest your time and money in other people and their general well being and health. This has spurred me onto trying things which I'd probably never have done before-i don't hold out much hope for quality but am hoping my wife will taste the love with which I've tried to prepare and cook with and encourage me to persevere in the face of adversity. Your parents must be extremely proud and you should also be proud of the person you are, I sincerely wish you all of the things in life which you deserve and all the happiness that goes with that
hi ive really enjoyed your program up 2 press, its given me loads of new ideas thanks keep up the good work

I live in Chinchilla Q Australia and I will be passing on your recipes to my son and his young friends. thanks jamie for igniting my passion again.
Ithought the program about cooking and sharing the ideas with your friends was out standing and I got a lot out of it . Even to the piont that we people need to eat better and consume the right sort of food to help us live a long and happy lives. you Jamie Oliver are one that is agreat servant to love to help those around who are in such need, I hope you read this and feel encouraged as I am watching your shows. I have four little girls 7years and under and this show is making me want to be abetter mum.May the lord richly bless you and your family regards tanya grippo
Jamie you're a legend!
This was yummy, passing it on tomorrow.
keep up the good work jamie although some of the program made us rotherham people look like idiots there are thousands in rotherham that can cook real good my niece is 12 and can cook a meal fit for anyone including u jamie xxo
it tastes like my husbands sausage
would love it if jamie would do the sae in middlesbrough area i would be up for doing it. also would love to have him train me in one of his kitchens.
I think he is right in what he is doing too many people have no idea how to cook these days and its a shame, its getting to the stage that everyone is only experiancing food by what they can buy in the supermarket already cooked.
Get the goverment involved to get our kids cooking, get adults involved with them i have found that the more you get involved with the kids and get them cooking even at a young age the more the kids and adults enjoy it.
I learned in infant school to make butter and cheese this i feel is what is missing today in schools. Come on Gordon get the idea you should not have to rely on people like Jamie Oliver to show you the way.
great site
going to have this for tea tonight not got any sausages, but have got some saugage meat in the freezer that needs using up. make a change from pie mash and veg.
