  • leaftover chicken from sunday roast-the best you can afford
  • all your veg pealings
  • couple of fresh carrots, spring onoins bay leaf
  • 2 very good stock cubes
  • glass of white wine (if you have some left)
  • no salt, you can add it later but a good grind of pepper
  • white sliced bread
  • mottzarella cheese
  • eggs
  • salt and peper
put all the bones and veg stock cubes in an bit pot
bring to a simmer for a cople of hours
strain it off
skim the surface for fat
serve hot with some copped chives

roll the sliced bread, so its thin
slice the cheese
sandwich together
dipp in to beaten egg
fry off gentle until golden

serve to hungry kids and grown ups

good clear soup kids love it, add some noodles
