A delicious recipe to taste a South-Tirolo (Northern Italian region) dessert, good for a break, especially for kids.
1 l water
1 k flour
1 k eggs
450 g butter
100 g sugar
25 g leavening
3 g salt
oil to fry
Peel and cut apple into thin round slices.
Mix the softened butter with the water, the add the flour, salt, sugr and leavening.
Add the egg last.
Cook the mixture over low flame until it boils.
Dip the apple slices in the mixture and the fry them in boiling oil.
Dust with sugar as desired and eat them hot.
