Put egg whites in a mixing bowl and add the Cream of tartar and make really fluffy
In another bowl cream together the butter and sugar. Gently add a little at a time the flour. Now fold in the egg whites gently. Finally add your apricots and vanilla. Use a 9" cake tin and cook in the oven for about 55 minutes of 325C
To make glaze
Simply mix both ingredients together and drizzle on top of cake when it has cooled down.
