This dish is really warming, excellent for the winter months. It\'s also quite filling, and really delicious. I\'m not usually too keen on beans, but I think we made a really good dish out of it.
Ingredients
-1 chopped onion
-1 packet of beef mince(optional)
-1 tin of mixed beans
-2 tins of baked beans
-a squirt of ketchup
-a tin of chopped tomatoes
Method
1)Brown the beef mince in a pan with a splash of olive oil and separate it out.
2)Add the beans, and mix.
3)Add the onion, and mix
4) Add the tinned tomatoes and the ketchup.
5)Stir it all around until the beef is cooked through, and serve. Garnish it with some coriander if you like that kind of stuff.

I like to make chili more like a soup, I use tomato juice, tomato paste, and green peppers and no ketchup or baked beans. I also like to add 1 can of white beans, black beans, red kidney, and 1 pinto bean. This gives the dish more appeal I think. I also add hot peppers or use can use pepperoncini peppers, they are very good in the dish.
