Ingredients
2 Tbsp oil
500g beef, cut into thin strips
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 tsp paprika
420g Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup
2 Tbsp tomato sauce
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
150g button mushrooms, sliced
2 Tbsp sour cream
2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Method
1. Heat oil in large saucepan. Add beef and cook for 3 minutes or until brown. Remove and set aside. Add onion and cook until soft, then add paprika and cook for 1- 2 minutes.
2. Add beef, soup, tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce to pan, mix well. Stir in mushrooms. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
3. Stir in sour cream and parsley.
4. Serve with cooked pasta or rice, if desired.

this comment is made over a year later. The recipe is pretty standard and easy for using left over roast beef but just try avoid any of the Campbell's soups -- chock full of chemicals including msg. If you must use a bought try the new Knorr product -- Homestyle Mushroom Soup and very clean of additives. Good luck.

Are you kidding me? Jamie uses canned Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup. I'm amazed. I'll still be trying this recipe because it sound tasty but the ingredient bowled me over

Tried other receipes but this was by far the easiest and the family liked it A LOT ! We will be having that again...and again!
I cooked this recipe for my family and they loooved it. And that was before I realized I forgot to add the Worcestershire sauce. Now it tastes superb.

I cook for a meals on wheels for my local community and struggle to find dishes that are different, yet also which the older people will try. I found this one perfect because it wasn't as rich as some other stroganoff recipes yet it also allowed them to have something a little different and more adventurous in their diet. Perfect. Thanks.
