Beef fillets with fennel and mushrooms

Easy to make

Ingredients
4 serves

1Kgr of beef meat without fat

1/2 fennel root

1 clove of garlic

flour(just spread some on the fillets)

2-3 leafs of basil

salt,sugar,pepper

1/4 cup olive oil

1 glass dry white wine

Method
Cut the meat into slices, and spread some flour over them, both sides.
In a frying pan add olive oil, a clove of garlic, 1/2 tea spoon of sugar, and the leafs of the basil.Saute them for 3-4 minutes,in order to free their fragrances and give to the oil their freshness.
Put the fillets into the pan and slow the fire.Let them saute from the both sides and when their color turn brownish, add the chopped fennel and the mushrooms. After 3-4 minutes of cooking add the wine and let it vaporized .
Add 1 glass of water, salt and pepper, and cook the food in a slow fire, for 30 minutes.
In the end if you wish you can add a small portion of cream fresh..
