Ingredients
4 serves
500 grms beef liver(sliced)
4 big mushrooms(chopped)
1 big onion, peeled and chopped
A handful of thyme
1 tea sp salt
½ tea sp sugar
¼ tea sp pepper
1 glass of white dry wine
1/3 cup olive oil
2 tiny devil red chillies
Parsley(chopped) to decorate
Method
Put the liver slices in salty water for about 2 hours.This will expel the excess blood that liver usually contains.
Dry the liver and set it aside.
Put the onion in a pan and the mushrooms,the chillies,and add the olive oil.
Heat the oil.
Cook them gently in a very slow fire for 10 minutes.
Add the liver slices and set the fire in medium level. Cook it from both sides for 10 minutes. Add salt ,pepper,sugar and herbs. Mix all well.
Add the wine and keep the fire in same level. Add ½ glass of water and cook till the sauce that has been created will be thicken.
Serve hot.
