  • 1 Banana
  • 1/4 C. frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 C. frozen strawberries
  • 1 t. local honey
  • 1 t. unsweetened natural coco
  • 1% milk
Toss the banana and the unsweetened frozen fruit in your blender. Put in your local honey and chocolate and top it off with milk. Fill the milk up about 3/4 over the fruit. Hit the blender for a few. Pour in glass and go.

For thicker shakes, use less milk or more fruit and for bite size chunks of fruit just use the blender for a few seconds. I switch out different types of fruit mixes. I use peach and banana, blueberry-peach-banana, raspberry-strawberry and banana.

This is a shake I make every morning for breakfast. The ingrediants speak for themselves. Having 1 teaspoon of local honey prevents reaction from hayfever and allergies. The chocolate and blueberries are great for you and it's a way to get your calcuim and a good portion of fruit. Use the 1% milk for less fat, using it in this shake you will never-ever notice the difference. Start your day out right!
