3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp cornstarch
3 tbsp port
1 tbsp water
1 cup blueberries
1 tsp lemon juice
Mix sugar and cornstarch together. Add Port & water. Add blueberries and cook over med-low heat stiring until thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat add lemon juice.
It is blueberry season here in Quebec, Canada. These tasty little berries are everywhere and they are so sweet and delicious. In my next posts I will show you what I will be making with these little blue guys.
For now I am giving you the recipe for the Blueberry Compote that I will later be using to top up my cheesecake.
I have to scramble through Jamie's book and se what I am making for tonight's dinner when my parents come ... busy, busy, busy!! :wave:
