This \"old-fashioned\" dish is as good as ever. For swedish style, serve with lingonberry jam.
1 kg Top round Beef
2-3 Chopped Carrots
1 Chopped Garden Onion
A beef of this size needs to simmer at least 2-3 hours in the pot, depending on how tender you like it. But, this dish is easy to make, you just need to turn around the beef every half an hour or so. Use the vegetables you have at home.
First brown the beef on every side. Pour water into the pot up to about three quaters of the beef. Let it simmer together with the vegetables on low heat. When the beef is nice and tender make a sauce of the gravy by blending soya, beef stock and maizena together. Flavour with salt and pepper.
