One of the most healthy and nutritious breakfasts one can eat, is a fruit salad. However, with any recipe you must begin with a base. In most recipes out there, you have a variety of fruits that actually do not blend well, especially with citrus and seedy fruit; the combination must be well balanced and flavourable (not too tart or too sweet). Also, you have to take into consideration the cost of fruits, in and out of season. The recipe below is inexpensive, well balanced and flavourful. The base of any fruit salad should have bananas, apples and oranges, the rest, I leave to your personal taste. For more recipes please check out my site www.saltjunk.com

1 vanilla yogurt (100g)
