Carrot cakes

Ingredients
Cake:

4 eggs
2 tsp• baking powder
2 cups sugar
1 cup pecans, chopped
4 cups grated carrots
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cup flour
2 tsp• baking soda
2 tsp• cinnamon



Cream Cheese Frosting:

1/2 stick butter, softened
8 oz• cream cheese, softened
1 box powdered sugar (1 lb.)
2 tsp• vanilla extract

Method
Cake Directions:

1. Combine sugar, baking powder, flour, cinnamon and baking soda in a bowl. Add in the eggs and oil.

2. Mix until just blended and then add the carrots and pecans.

3. Bake at 375F to 400F for 35 to 40 minutes or until done.


Frosting Directions:

1. Mix cream cheese and butter until smooth, add sugar and vanilla and blend well. Spread on cooled cake.

btw one cup is 236 ml. just in case you guys use large quantities and you used 250 ml as a cup -.-

awesome cake! and so easy to bake. for a lot of people it is easier to use "CUP" or TSP" as a measurement, as a lot of people, for eg, wouldnt have a clue about grams and milligrams etcetc.

All my mums hand written recipes were in cups and I can always remember her and my sisters using tea cups as the measurement.

when you say cup, what you mean?what size is it? is it not easier writte down in g?
even though, good recepie and easy to follow.
