225g self-raising flour
65g unsalted butter, cubed
pinch of salt
30g cheddar cheese, grated
1. Preheat oven to 220C. In a bowl, mix together the flour and salt. Rub in the butter, until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
2. Mix in the cheese and then the milk to make a soft dough, then gently knead on a floured surface. Roll out to about 1 inch thick. Cut out rounds using a 2 inch round cutter. Place onto a greased baking tray and bake in the oven for approx. 15 mins.
