Melted cheese on toasted bread

Method
Toast bread, melt cheese on toasted bread

Try toasting just one side of the bread and then put the cheese on the untoasted side.. grill as normal. You don't burn the bread then :-)<br /> <br /> fried onion and worcester sauce also make a nice topping!

thanks ! just the help i needed, everytime i made this it ended in distaster . . new i realise i was doing it wrong . . . melting the bread and toasting the cheese :P

I love catherdral cheese on half bagettes with tuna under the cheese! Yummy!

R0ly, I would suggest Cathedral City on a slice of Warburton's white. Failing that... a Dairylea slice?<br /> sean, I don't think Jamie would struggle, but he might fancy-pants it up a little too much and spoil the simplicity of this wonderful recipe!
