Chicken gizzards and hearts

Lovely dish, beautiful colour and good flavoury...

Ingredients
500 g chicken gizzards and hearts

1 green pepper

1 red pepper

1 chili

1 cup chicken stock

3 cloves garlic

1 onion finely chopped

a good handful of prasley leafs

1 tsb butter

extravirgin oliva oil

Method
Heat a saucepan with oliva oil and add onion finely chopped and chili. Still cooking until onion is brown and then add gizzards and hearts, season with salt and pepper. Cover with lid and cook at medium flame aboute 10 minutes, then add red and green pepper finely chopped. When you need add little by little chicken stock. When is finish add butter, garlic finely chopped and a god handful of prasley leafs.
Serve with \"balmos\" and slice of homemade bread.

par boil the gizzards and hearts first for about 10-15 minutes.

Hi. I just cooked this dish. Flavor are really nice, but gizzards come very hard. Any reason for it?
